BAIBA VEGERE
Born in 1948.
Professional training – Janis Rozentals Art School of
Riga (1959 – 1966), Latvian Academy of Arts, Art
Education Department (1966 – 1971).
Has been contributing to exhibitions since 1971. Member
of Latvian Artists' Union since 1978. Member of
Association "B – 13" since 1993.
Had her solo exhibition in Riga in 1985. Has participated
regularly in group exhibitions in Riga, Moscow, Jelgava,
France, Germany and elsewhere.
Her works are to be found in the collections of the State
Art Museum and Latvian Artists' Union, as well as in many
private collections in Latvia and abroad.
Currently teaching at Janis Rozenthls Art School of Riga.
