INESE SILINA

Born in 1952. Professional training – Janis Rozentals Art School of Riga (1963-1971), Latvian Academy of Arts, Painting Department (1971 – 1977) – under the supervision of prof. I. Zarins.
Has been contributing to exhibitions since 1975. Member of Latvian Artists' Union since 1980. Member of Association "B 13" since 1993.
Has had several solo shows. Has participated in group exhibitions in Riga, Moscow, France, Italy, Holland, England, Sweden, Germany and elsewhere.
Her works are to be found in the collections of the State Art Museum and Latvian Artists' Union, as well as in many private collections in Latvia, USA, Argentina, Mexico, Australia, Sweden, Germany and other countries.
Currently teaching at Janis Rozentals Riga Art School.
